Jen Schlader

Jen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Jen’s experience has been in a variety of settings including inpatient hospitals, residential treatment, day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient settings. She is experienced treating a variety of conditions and is passionate about helping individuals recover from trauma. Recently, she applied for Register Play Therapist meaning she has completed 150 hours of training in play therapy specifically, with an emphasis on working with individuals with a neurodivergence. She is a mother to 9 year old twins with special needs. Jen understands the complex needs of those living with disabilities and wants to play a more active role in advocating to protect their rights. Jen is also a parent representative on the State of Utah Board of Special Education. In her free time, Jen enjoys gardening, exploring the outdoors, DIY projects, playing with her kids and reading.
