Rena Rogers

Executive Director of Mental Health America of Utah

Rena is a fierce advocate for all things mental health. She is the Executive Director of Mental Health America of Utah which is a peer driven, peer run organization. She represents the peer voice on the State of Utah’s Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Commission.  Rena is also a board member of CIT Utah and participates in their trainings for law enforcement across the state.  She has worked and volunteered with the homeless population as well as the SMI population for many years. Rena is part of several boards and councils that commingle with mental health issues. She is a proud Certified Peer Support Specialist and looks forward to making positive changes and progress within the mental health community. She also believes that EVERY person with a disability should be treated with the upmost respect, equality, and dignity. Not every disability is visible which all people should keep in mind.
